Beginning in the mid 1970’s, John Gregory Schultz’s passion for creativity & eye for detail lead him down a path very unfamiliar to many teenage boys of his generation. With either a trade or university the main options for further success, John Gregory found himself with a draw plate, file & hammer and the rest is history. After completing his trade, he stepped out on his own, collaborating with other specialists & slowly building up a strong clientele base across a range of jewellery including engagement rings, wedding bands, bracelets, remakes & repairs. With hand-made pieces his specialty & an eye for unique designs, he was soon inundated with orders & expanded to handle the growth. Throughout the early 2000’s his store on Hampton St, Hampton, blossomed and his client base continued to grow. This meant the introduction of many suppliers to his range; expanding into sterling silvers, watch repairs, pearls & everything in between. Sooner or later it was time – JGS Jewellers were born. Situated just off popular Glenferrie Rd, Malvern, JGS Jewellers provides exquisite service to it’s clientele and prides itself on the belief that there is no job too big or small.
