Butchering is in the Bouchier family’s blood, originally from the Western District; Peter is one of 14 butchers in the family! Commencing his apprenticeship in 1976 in a shop on Malvern Road, Peter began managing this shop in 1980 once he completed his apprenticeship; 3 years later Peter and his wife Sue purchased the shop from his boss and began the tradition that is Peter G Bouchier – Butchers of Distinction.

Peter Bouchier now operates two stores, being Malvern Central and Toorak. Peter also supplies to David Jones.
